Where we deliver across greater Kalamazoo
Our yard sits on 550 E Cork St, on the south side of Kalamazoo near the airport and the Sprinkle Rd industrial corridor, close to the Kalamazoo/Portage border. That location decides the shape of our day: Portage, south Kalamazoo and Comstock Township are close enough that a morning call often becomes a same-day delivery, while the farther-out towns — Galesburg, Parchment, Richland, Vicksburg, Oshtemo Township and Texas Township — are scheduled next-day routes rather than same-day work. Kalamazoo Township and Cooper Township sit in between and usually land same-day when we are already routing that direction. We would rather tell you that plainly than promise a container by lunchtime and leave you waiting.
Kalamazoo County looks genuinely different place to place when it comes to running a truck. Kalamazoo itself runs a dense, historic core — including the Vine Area Historic District's narrow older streets — alongside fast-growing corridors farther out. Portage, Parchment and Galesburg are their own incorporated cities with their own city government and city hall, Richland and Vicksburg are incorporated villages with the same kind of self-governing structure on a smaller scale, and Comstock, Oshtemo, Texas, Kalamazoo and Cooper are townships — Michigan's default form of county subdivision, still real local government, just organized differently and usually covering more open, lower-density ground. Which towns do you deliver dumpsters to?
All 11 communities across Kalamazoo County: Kalamazoo itself, the incorporated cities of Portage and Parchment and Galesburg, the incorporated villages of Richland and Vicksburg, and the townships of Comstock, Oshtemo, Texas, Kalamazoo and Cooper. Our yard is on the south side of Kalamazoo near the airport and the Sprinkle Rd corridor, so Portage and south Kalamazoo are the quickest, and the farther townships and villages are usually next-day rather than same-day.
Does it cost more to deliver farther from the yard?
Distance is a real cost, so a Galesburg or Richland delivery is not priced the same as a Portage one. What we will not do is hide it. You get the full number on the phone before anything is booked, and it does not change afterwards unless the load goes over the tonnage allowance you agreed to.
How far in advance should I book?
Right after a severe-thunderstorm or tornado-watch line moves through in spring, right after a winter lake-effect snow or ice event brings down limbs, and during the busiest stretch of the spring-through-fall building season, book as early as you can. Outside those windows you can usually get a container within a day or two. New-construction sites out in Texas Township and Oshtemo Township book out fastest, so plan ahead if you are working on one.
Can you deliver if I am not on the property?
Yes, and it happens constantly with rental properties, relocations and job sites where the owner is not on site. Mark the spot with a cone, a stake or a chalk line, tell us about gate codes and low limbs, and stay reachable by phone. The driver will call before setting the container down if anything looks wrong.

Call and ask. Our published service area covers the 11 communities listed on this page, all within Kalamazoo County. If you are just outside that footprint we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you or whether you are better served by someone closer.
